1st |
Sunday Services—the worship, the systematic exposition and reception of God’s Word. |

2nd |
Pray that God’s Word would have a “free
course” among us in EPC. |
|
3rd |
Youth Clubs on a Saturday evening and for
the Leaders who work with many un-churched young people. |
|
4th |
For Peter, Christine, Gabi, Yasmin, Luke
and Jude Rowan in Kent. Peter takes on his new challenge as
“Director of OMF in the UK” in January 2010. |
|
5th |
Pray for all those who have been bereaved
in recent months and for all who are troubled about their Future. |
|
6th |
Pray for Mrs Ruby Millar and the Kirk
Session as they oversee the life of EPC during the Vacancy.
Pray also for the Congregational Committee as they make
decisions regarding the Vacancy. |
|
7th |
Pray for the continued demonstration of
love in our Congregational Life. |
|
8th |
Pray for all members of EPC— of all ages.
Let us seek to indentify with one another so that we may
treat each other with compassion and sensitivity. |

9th |
Pray for Rosemary and Bill Rettie as they
work for AIM in Europe from their base in Nottingham. |
|
10th |
Pray for the Crèche and for the
introduction that the Crèche provides for young children and
their parents to church life. |
|
11th |
Pray for racial harmony in the City and for
our outreach to Ethnic Minorities. For people from other
countries who feel threatened. |
|
12th |
The Boys and Girls Brigade in all sections.
For the Officers and members—and for the
advancement of Christ’s Kingdom.
For unity in our Youth Ministry through the Youth Forum. |

13th |
Pray for Frances Anderson as she leads the
Women’s Ministry through the “WEB”. |
|
14th |
The Men’s Ministry—for its leadership and
members. Thank God for
the bonding that has taken place. |
|
15th |
Pray for the Rev. Rob Craig and the
Presbytery Vacancy Commission as they take EPC forward into a
new Ministry. |
|
16th |
Pray for the Minister who will accept the
Call to EPC that he may know God’s definite leading at this
time. |
|
17th |
Pray for our Cell Groups as they consider
the Mission of EPC and formulate the Congregational Mission
Plan. |
|
18th |
Pray for “Ard Cluan” and other Residential
and Nursing Homes in the City.
Pray for the Board of Social Witness of PCI and pray for
all those who are ill and especially the terminally ill. |

19th |
Pray for all the schools, colleges and the
University in the City, for Christian Unions and Christian Staff Members. |
|
20th |
For the ongoing Pastoral Ministry carried
out in Hospitals, Residential Homes, the Hospice,
Prisons and in members homes. |
|
21st |
For the Gospel opportunities that the
development of Ebrington Barracks offers EPC over the coming
years |
|
22nd |
Give thanks and pray for our ever growing
Tiddler’s Group and for the faithful staff. |

23rd |
For our Sunday Ministry to Young People and Children through the Youth Forum, the ROCK,
the GIG and the RAVEN. |

24th |
For Jacqueline and the Choir as they
prepare to lead our worship each week. For all the people who
come to lead our worship during the Vacancy—fill them with your
Holy Spirit and open our ears and hearts to receive Your
message. |

25th |
Remember the Fell’s as God uses them in new
ways. |
|
26th |
Pray for Robert McFaul in Ballyloughan. |
|
27th |
For essential unity in EPC and for the
“Crown Jesus” initiative to the City with which we are involved
. |
|

For links with local Resident Groups and
for Adrian Love as he develops these. |

For the Luncheon Club and Coffee
Bar—reaching out to local businesses and the wider community in
Christ’s name. |

30th |
Pray for all the work among our elderly
members and those who cannot get out—the DVD Ministry and the
Bright Hour. |

31st |
The Roulston’s new project in Kenya
“W.H.E.A.T.” They return on 6th January 2010 and
remember the girls as they return to Wesley College in Dublin. |
